Pricing that always adds up.

Most quoting tools are just spreadsheets in disguise — one wrong cell and the trip loses money. Tourical works the way tour operators really price: set your margins by category, your rates for children and single rooms, your taxes — once. Every quote then adds up correctly, and the price your client signs is locked in, so it can never quietly drift on you.

The four guests in every group

Children, infants, solo travellers — priced right automatically, not in a spreadsheet.

Set how much children, infants, adults and seniors each pay — your own rates, adjustable any time. The single-room charge starts at a sensible default you can change per trip. And when a family says the little one will share, you override that one guest in a tap. Every change re-prices the whole trip on the spot.

Set your own rate for each age group, and adjust it per trip when a family asks. Sensible limits keep a mistyped number from ever breaking a quote.

The engine held a quote yesterday because a price looked out of date. It will never quote on numbers it can’t trust.
The signed price

What the client signed is what the client pays.

The moment you send a quote, Tourical freezes a snapshot of it — the price, the suppliers, the deposit terms. If costs shift afterwards, the trip page quietly shows you by how much: your client still sees the price they agreed, and you see the alert. And if anything looks uncertain, the quote waits rather than send a number you can’t stand behind.

  • The signed price is saved against the booking — not just the quote.
  • If a supplier raises a rate after you’ve quoted, you see it straight away.
  • Taxes are worked out the way tour operators are taxed — quietly, in the background.
  • Every change to a cost is logged with who, when and why.
What you can set

Every pricing lever a tour operator needs, in one place.

Not one flat markup for everything. Real, category-by-category pricing — with the awkward cases already handled.

Set a different margin for accommodation, transport, experiences, staff and more
Cost lines for hotels, activities, guides, transport, staff, meals, vehicles and fuel
Your own rates for children, infants, adults and seniors — adjustable any time
A single-room charge as a flat amount or a percentage, set per trip
Taxes worked out the way tour operators are taxed, quietly in the background
Travellers pay in their own currency at a fair rate — and never a stale one
Room pricing by type — single, double, twin, triple
Deposits set as non-refundable; the balance scheduled by how far off the trip is
The signed price frozen at booking — what they agreed is what they pay
FAQ

The questions your accountant will ask.

Pricing, taxes, and the edge cases that bite.

How are taxes handled?
The way tour operators are actually taxed — worked out in the background on each quote, so you don’t have to think about it. If your business is set up differently, standard rates apply instead.
Can I set different markups per category?
Yes. Accommodation, transport, experiences, staff and more each get their own margin. Not one flat percentage for everything — that’s the most common complaint operators have about generic tools.
What if a price looks out of date?
The engine holds the quote rather than send a number it can’t trust, and lets you know. You’ll never accidentally quote on a stale rate.
How are children and infants priced?
You set your own rate for each age group, adjustable per trip. Sensible limits stop a mistyped number from ever multiplying a quote by accident.
What about a solo traveller in a twin room?
A single-room charge — a flat amount or a percentage, set per trip. Room pricing handles single, double, twin and triple cleanly.
Why is the deposit non-refundable?
Because it covers the supplier payments that leave your account straight away. Everything after that — the balance schedule and any refunds — is handled, including refunding one traveller in a group.
